Bobby Balachandran is the founder, president and CEO of Exterro, Inc. After an extensive career building mission-critical applications in the financial services, healthcare and telecommunications sectors, Bobby founded Exterro with the conviction that the legal industry was rife with opportunities for process improvements that could be driven from lessons learned in other industries. Today, Bobby fulfills Exterro’s founding principles by leading the company in building a comprehensive platform for global corporations to mitigate risks, control costs, and have complete end to end visibility into their legal processes. Bobby holds a BS in computer science from Government College of Technology in Coimbatore, India, and an MS in computer science from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon.
Shashidhar Angadi is the head of Technology Operations at Exterro and drives the development of cutting-edge software to serve the needs of corporate legal and IT teams at Global 2000 organizations. Leveraging more than 15 years of experience in the IT industry, Shashidhar focuses on architecture frameworks, portals, security, service-oriented architecture, CRM and application integration in his leadership role at Exterro. He holds a BS in computer science from Bangalore University in Bangalore, India.
Bobby Jahanbani is a veteran corporate legal software sales leader with over 18 years of experience. Bobby has held a variety of sales and management positions at iManage (Interwoven-Autonomy), CompuLaw, X1, Bridgeway, Mitratech and Datacert where he was most recently in charge of the North America corporate legal sales team. Bobby holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and earned an MBA from the University of California Irvine.
Bill Piwonka oversees all marketing functions for Exterro. His background is firmly rooted in B2B marketing operations. During the past 20 years, Bill has led marketing teams and initiatives spanning strategy, product marketing, product management, demand generation, marketing communications and business development. Prior to joining Exterro, he served as the vice president of marketing at Janrain. Bill has also held marketing management positions at EthicsPoint (now NavexGlobal), Centennial Software, Serena Software, Intel and Oracle. He earned an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and holds a BA in quantitative economics from Stanford University.
Ajith Samuel is Exterro's Chief Product Officer and leads the company’s product strategy team in creating innovative solutions to help large corporations navigate information smarter. Ajith has 15 years of experience in regulatory compliance and designing and architecting large-scale information systems for the futures industry. He holds a master’s degree in computer applications from St. Joseph’s in Trichy, India.
Michelle Spencer oversees all finance and accounting functions for Exterro. During the past 15 years, she has led similar functions at global high-growth technology companies that provide cloud-based solutions and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) systems. She has been instrumental in guiding companies to achieve significant growth and profitability. Earlier in her career, she held executive and senior level positions primarily with companies in legal, retail, distribution, and manufacturing industries. She earned an MBA from Duke University and holds a BBA in Accounting from The University of Texas in Austin. She is a licensed CPA.
Dr. Thangasami is responsible for overseeing all functions at the Exterro R&D office, which includes software development, technical support and corporate management. With more than 10 years of research experience in distributed data sciences and doctoral degrees in computer science and engineering, she is ideally qualified to lead Exterro’s big data strategy and development of predictive and prescriptive analytics. In addition to her doctoral degrees, she also has earned a master’s degree in business administration.
Mark Wilcox is the Global Vice President of Sales at Exterro and helps clients find solutions to solve their legal governance and e-discovery challenges. In addition, Mark oversees a Regional Enterprise Sales Division, A Global Channel Division and he leads Exterro’s growth into the European market. He is a proven leader with nearly three decades of sales and management experience. He holds a BS in speech communications from Oregon State University.
