The Exterro FOIA/Public Records Portal enables federal and state government agencies to more effectively manage the entire records request process, from request receipt through document delivery.
PORTLAND, Ore., August 28, 2018 – Exterro® Inc., the preferred provider of software specifically designed for in-house legal and IT teams at Global 2000 and AmLaw 200 organizations, announced the release of the Exterro FOIA/Public Records Request (PRR) Portal Solution.
With this solution, federal and state government agencies can deploy a website that allows constituents to easily submit and track FOIA and other public records requests. When the Portal solution is combined with other Exterro products, a tailored workflow automates all tasks associated with the entire request process.
Requests are automatically routed to the appropriate internal resources for research, retrieval, review, and delivery back to the requester. By implementing this solution, agencies can significantly reduce the time and cost required to fulfill public records requests.
When constituents access the Exterro PRR Portal, they can not only submit new public records requests but also search and view an online library of documents already available in the public domain, if the associated agency supports this capability.
“The Exterro FOIA/PRR Portal is designed to help government agencies and others respond to records requests through an orchestrated process that is automated and repeatable. When used in conjunction with other Exterro technologies, the Portal becomes a key component in assisting agencies through every stage—from request submission by a constituent to search, review, and final delivery of the requested documents,” said AJ Samuel, Chief Product Officer at Exterro.
