Exterro Continues to Build Out Its Collection Capabilities with a New Partnership

Read this blog post to learn about Exterro's new partnership with ModeOne, giving e-discovery, compliance, and digital forensic professionals the ability to collect data remotely, at scale, from smartphones.

Exterro has announced a partnership with ModeOne Technologies, the creator of a patented SaaS framework designed to automate the remote, targeted collection of smartphone data for litigation, compliance, and investigative purposes.

Through this partnership, Exterro customers can now leverage ModeOne’s Smartphone Framework OEM—the first fully remote solution capable of enabling same-day collection of targeted data from both Apple iOS and Android devices. This can be done from anywhere in the world, without requiring physical collection kits or onsite forensic personnel.

Remote smartphone data collection has traditionally been a major challenge. While it eliminates shipping costs and logistical delays, the sheer volume of data on modern devices often results in slow transfer times. This collaboration significantly reduces those challenges by introducing a faster, automated approach to data collection.

Data collected through ModeOne can be seamlessly integrated into Exterro’s suite of solutions, including Legal Hold, E-Discovery Data Management, Review, and FTK Enterprise. This integration enables a streamlined workflow for handling, analyzing, and reviewing mobile data within a unified ecosystem.

As demand for mobile data in investigations and compliance continues to grow, this partnership helps organizations simplify processes, accelerate timelines, and reduce costs from the outset.
