XChange 2025 Day Three: Spotlight on Innovation, Leadership, and Customer XCellence

Day three of XChange 2025 capped an incredible week in Denver with a mix of inspiration, innovation, and reflection.

The morning opened with a powerful keynote from Marcia Clark, who shared candid insights from her storied legal career. Her perspective on resilience, preparation, and leadership resonated across the audience—reminding everyone of the human side of law, justice, and decision-making under pressure.

From there, the spotlight shifted to product innovation. Attendees got a closer look at OptiX360, Exterro’s automated data mapping solution, designed to give organizations instant visibility into where sensitive data resides and how it’s being used. By streamlining what has traditionally been a manual, error-prone process, OptiX360 empowers teams to meet regulatory requirements more easily, reduce risk, and ensure compliance across privacy, legal, and security functions. Combined with the expanding power of Exterro Intelligence, customers saw how agentic AI is delivering faster, smarter, and more defensible results—while remaining secure and tailored to the unique requirements of regulated industries.

And while the day’s sessions energized attendees, conversations kept circling back to the night before: the XCellence Awards Ceremony, where we recognized customers and partners who embody innovation, leadership, and community. This year’s honorees included:

  • XCellence Customer Champion of the Year – Rockwell Automation
    Matthew Petersen, a true partner across forensics and legal, a thought leader in our user groups, and someone who has woven Exterro into his team’s DNA.
  • XCellence Customer Champion of the Year – Hilltop Holdings
    Patrick Butts, an advocate and leader whose voice and best practices extend far beyond his own organization, strengthening the broader Exterro community.
  • XCellence Customer Champion of the Year – Tokio Marine HCC
    Nick Curtis, whose passion and drive helped guide Tokio Marine’s migration from FTK to Exterro EDDM, inspiring colleagues and peers along the way.
  • Partner XCellence Award – Integreon
    A global leader in legal services and managed solutions, Integreon has been an invaluable partner in delivering seamless, defensible outcomes for our shared customers—most recently demonstrated in our collaboration with Stantec.

The final day ended with more good company, food, drinks, and fun at Pindustry in Denver, with striking views of the Rockies and a great time for all!
