Inside Exterro: Working with Customers

Check out this blog post to learn about two of our team members who work with customers directly and why they're happy to be part of the Exterro team: Karl Bridgers, Senior Training Instructor, and Katie Cowey, Client Success Manager.

While Exterro is a technology company, it emphasizes that its solutions are not “black boxes” that operate independently. Customers are supported throughout their journey—from implementation to ongoing use—ensuring they can fully leverage the platform’s capabilities in privacy, e-discovery, and digital forensics. Even experienced users benefit from guidance and training to achieve the best outcomes.

Two key teams that play a central role in this customer experience are Client Success and Training.

Katie Cowey, Client Success Manager, works closely with customers to help them maximize the value of their Exterro solutions. She also acts as a vital feedback bridge between users and the company. Exterro places strong emphasis on listening to customers—encouraging open dialogue not only about the technology itself but also about day-to-day operational challenges. This feedback-driven approach helps refine products and ensures they meet real-world needs within the legal GRC space.

On the training side, Karl Bridgers, Senior Training Instructor, focuses on helping users understand legal workflows and processes so they can use the technology more effectively. His role is about more than just software instruction—it’s about enabling clients to work more efficiently, manage budgets better, and support their broader goals, including investigative efforts.

Both perspectives highlight a common theme: Exterro’s value lies not just in its technology, but in the people and support systems behind it. By combining robust tools with hands-on training and responsive client success teams, the company helps customers solve problems more efficiently and achieve meaningful results.
