As we wrap another remarkable year, Exterro wants to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make the 11th annual eDiscovery Day a resounding success. What began in 2015 as a single-day celebration of the profession has grown into a truly global tradition—uniting legal, compliance, privacy, and technology professionals who are committed to advancing defensible, ethical, and innovative discovery practices. This year’s participation by members of the eDiscovery community at webinars and live events once again proved that the strength of our community is its willingness to learn, share, and evolve together.
eDiscovery Day has always been about more than education—it’s about connection. Partners across the industry, including ACEDS, EDRM, and eDiscovery Today, helped deliver dynamic discussions and valuable insights to thousands of attendees across the United States and beyond. Their support and expertise ensure that eDiscovery Day remains not just an annual gathering, but a shared commitment to strengthening the discipline year after year. To every partner organization, speaker, sponsor, and volunteer: thank you. This day would not exist without your leadership and passion.
This year’s theme—AI, Risk, and the Future of eDiscovery—reflected the profession’s most transformative moment since the 2015 FRCP amendments. With AI now becoming the foundation of modern discovery workflows, the conversations were timely, candid, and deeply practical. Our expert-led webinars surfaced the challenges and opportunities ahead—from validating AI outputs to maintaining defensibility, governing cross-border data, modernizing workflows, and rethinking the skills practitioners need to stay ahead. The message was clear: we are entering a new era of discovery, and together, we are shaping the guardrails that will define it.
One of the standout elements of eDiscovery Day 2025 was the return—and expansion—of our in-person community events. Exterro and our partners hosted gatherings in New York, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, and Chicago, bringing practitioners together for conversation, networking, and shared learning. These sessions captured what makes the eDiscovery community so unique: collaboration across roles and disciplines, curiosity about what comes next, and a willingness to openly explore the implications of AI, risk, and governance in real-world practice. To everyone who joined us in person, thank you for bringing your energy, your expertise, and your perspective.

As we close out another successful eDiscovery Day, we’re reminded why this tradition continues to grow: because our community never stops advancing. The profession is evolving rapidly—data volumes are accelerating, AI is reshaping workflows, and defensibility remains more essential than ever. Exterro is proud to support this community with technology, guidance, and forums for continuous learning. And we remain committed to ensuring that eDiscovery professionals have the tools and insights they need to lead confidently into the future.
Thank you to everyone who attended a session, shared a resource, spoke on a panel, hosted an event, or participated in the conversation online. You are the reason eDiscovery Day continues to thrive, and we’re honored to celebrate this profession alongside you.
Here’s to another year of innovation, collaboration, and progress. We’ll see you again next December—and many times in between.
