Siemens Selects Exterros Fusion Software Suite for E-Discovery Management

Electronics and engineering leader is integrating the Exterro® e-discovery platform as part of strategic initiative to upgrade its legal infrastructure

PORTLAND, Ore., February 21, 2012 - Exterro® Inc., the leading provider of workflow-driven e-discovery software, today announced that Siemens Corporation has selected the Exterro® platform as part of a strategic initiative to upgrade its e-discovery processes. Exterro is the legal industrys only software suite specifically designed for managing the critical data and workflows across the EDRM spectrum. After completing a comprehensive proof of concept process, the U.S. subsidiary of Siemens AG, a global powerhouse in electronics and engineering, chose Exterro for its ease of use and flexible architecture.

Siemens teams conducted a comprehensive, side-by-side comparison and in-depth proof of concept before selecting Exterro to power its identification, preservation and e-discovery management processes. Exterros Fusion Genome® Data Mapping, Fusion Legal Hold and Discovery Workflow Management applications are being integrated into Siemens legal IT infrastructure including the companys HR and single sign-on (SSO) systems through the Fusion Integration Hub.
