Exterro a Visionary in Leading Analyst Firms First Magic Quadrant on E-Discovery Software

PORTLAND, Ore. June 28, 2011 Exterro®, the legal industrys most trusted provider of e-discovery solutions, has been named a visionary in Gartners first Magic Quadrant for E-Discovery Software*.

The Gartner report evaluated a vendors ability to understand buyers' wants and needs and to translate that understanding into products and services.another key investment strategy for products is to consistently work on the simplification and ease of use of the toolset. In keeping with that standard, Exterro delivers user-friendly solutions that treat e-discovery as a regular business process. Exterro® is a fully integrated suite of cross-compatible and standalone applications backed by the power of a workflow platform. The latest Fusion release, Zeta, addresses some of the key processes in e-discovery, including in-place early case assessment, preservation, collection, and analysis.

Exterro has a lot of appeal right now because of its unique workflow approach and strong legal perspective, said Bennett Borden, co-chair of the e-Discovery and Information Governance Section at Williams Mullen. Fusion Zeta gives Exterro a more complete, end-to-end solution and I see them rising to become a real market leader.

According to the Gartner Magic Quadrant, the market has become increasingly intolerant of point solutions for things like litigation hold functionality. With the addition Fusion Zeta, Exterro covers the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) process and reduces the need for costly point tools. Moreover, the Fusion Integration Hub cuts down duplication and waste by connecting with common ESI data sources such as Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint and leveraging investments in IT infrastructure and other e-discovery tools.

Im very proud about where Exterro is positioned in such a competitive e-discovery market, said Bobby Balachandran, Exterros President and CEO. Enterprises today need intuitive solutions that reflect the way legal teams think and we are taking that feedback and directly applying it to our products.
