In the ACC CLO Report, which was sponsored by Exterro, surveyed 947 CLOs about what their biggest challenges, areas of emphasis and initiatives for their legal departments are for 2021 and beyond.
The biggest takeaway from the report: Legal departments are actively investing in their legal operations personnel, with increases in headcount in corporate legal departments year-over-year and a 39% increase since 2015. Now, 61% of legal departments employ at least one legal operations professional, while 21% employ at least four.
