XChange 2025 Day Two: Vision, Innovation, and Inspiration

September 10, 2025

Day two of XChange 2025 is wrapped, and the momentum is undeniable. While yesterday was all about hands-on certification training, today the full conference kicked into high gear — and our customers were buzzing from start to finish.

Bobby Balachandran opened the morning with a keynote that set the tone for the week ahead, laying out Exterro’s bold vision for the future of data risk management. His message was clear: innovation only matters if it drives real value for customers, and Exterro is committed to building that future together.

Chief Product Officer Ajith Samuel then took the stage to dig deeper into what’s shaping that future. He spotlighted three forces driving Exterro’s innovation: the relentless growth of data volumes and types, the increasing overlap of privacy, legal, IT, and compliance responsibilities, and the unstoppable rise of agentic AI. Against that backdrop, he outlined three roadmap priorities: Freeing the Data with more powerful reporting, Automations that save time and reduce effort, and Agentic AI through Exterro Assist for Data. His message was clear: Exterro is aligning its roadmap to both customer requirements and the sweeping market changes reshaping our industry.

That commitment was on full display as attendees got an in-depth look at Exterro Intelligence, with new custom reporting features unveiled based directly on customer feedback. The response? Tremendous excitement, with customers already imagining how these capabilities can transform the way they find, analyze, and protect their data.

The day kept delivering. Nancy Grace gave an intimate, inspiring talk that pulled back the curtain on her career, mindset, and drive in the world of law and crime — one of those sessions that people will be talking about long after XChange.

Breakout sessions hit the practical side, tackling topics like why data mapping is non-negotiable, how to respond post-breach, and new realities in data collection. Beyond the presentations, they sparked rich conversations and best-practice sharing among peers across privacy, forensics, and e-discovery.

We wrapped the day with the high-energy Innovation Xchange Lab, where bold ideas and peer collaboration took center stage, before celebrating our customers at tonight’s Customer Appreciation Dinner.

If today is any sign of what’s ahead, the rest of XChange 2025 is going to be unforgettable. Stay tuned for updates from Day Three — including the announcement of the Exterro Customer Award winners and much more!
