Exterro Certification Day

At inFusion ’19, we are offering an expanded lineup of certification day offerings. No matter what your interest or experience, you will find classes to benefit your e-discovery practice.

Basic Certification Sessions

We are providing introductory Certification classes for Legal Hold, E-Discovery Data Management (EDDM) and Project Management. These sessions will give newer users the ability to use the product for every day work, configure settings that will enable them to work more smoothly, and will give each attendee tips and tricks that they can take back to their workplaces and improve the process and help their coworkers.

Advanced Certification & Other New Classes

New in 2019! We are now offering advanced sessions on Legal Hold and EDDM. These sessions assume proficiency and will focus on best practices and maximizing the use and time-saving utilization of the tool.

For our IT users, we have a full-day class to talk about the essential components of Exterro setup. Dedicated to support the needs of the IT team, this class will cover configuration and troubleshooting from an IT perspective.

We are offering a new class on the Employee Change Monitor (ECM). Many of our customers are enjoying the time-saving features of ECM. This session will go deeper and show new ways to use system actions to save time and improve your efforts on many fronts. For those clients who want to learn more about the entire Exterro suite of products, we will be offering Exterro Discovery. This is a half-day session that will dive into the full suite’s capabilities and the benefits of an integrated platform.

In the morning session, you will meet the Exterro team and learn how to configure your computer to join in the subsequent session. This will not be a hands-on session and breakfast will be provided.

9:15 am - 4:45 pm

Exterro Legal Hold 101

For active users of Exterro Legal Hold who have not yet been certified or who want to refresh their certification knowledge. Learn the basic elements of Exterro's Legal Hold software, including navigation of the interface, matters, matter teams, legal hold creation and issuance, default settings (notices, reminders), legal hold management and release of legal holds. Note: Both Legal Hold, Part I and Part II are required for certification.

Exterro E-Discovery Data Management (EDDM) 101

For active users of EDDM who have not yet been certified or who want to refresh their certification knowledge. Learn about Data Source Configuration from a Legal Perspective, Creating Early Case Assessments and Collections, working within the ESI vault, working with the review module, and producing documents. Note: Both the morning and afternoon sessions are required for certification. This session is offered from a legal perspective. Technical users may wish to participate in the Technical Track.

Exterro Project Management (EPM) 101

For active users of Exterro's Project Management module. This session will cover how to create workflow templates, requests, instructions, and checklists. Case studies of best practices around workflow creation and ideas for how to use Project Management to streamline internal processes will be presented. Note: Both the morning and afternoon sessions are required for certification.

Exterro Legal Hold 201

Designed for those who have already been certified in Legal Hold or who have been working in Legal Hold for 2 or more years but want more in depth knowledge. This session will cover custodian search and identification, best practices for managing the hold process, Dynamic Tags and Email Links, and Closing Holds. We will cover In-Place Preservation and Advanced Reporting.

Exterro E-Discovery Data Management (EDDM) 201

Certification Session

Designed for those who have already been certified in EDDM or have been working in EDDM for 2 or more years, but want more in depth knowledge and troubleshooting skills. This session will cover the ingest feature, best practices for collection, advanced searching, maximizing the benefit of ECA, determining when to use the review module or simply working within the ESI vault, and will present some of the AI features that are newly available within EDDM. Note: Both the morning and afternoon sessions are required for certification.

Tech Track

This session is designed for the IT team members and will cover configuration of Integrations, In-Place Preservation, Data Sources, Ingestions, Collections, Gateway Coordinators, Productions, and other parts of the Exterro System from an IT perspective. Note: Both the morning and afternoon sessions are required for certification.

For those individuals who would like more information about Employee Change Monitor and Reporting best practices. We will discuss use cases for ECM and attendees will create and test Monitors.

At inFusion, we will be bringing in e-discovery experts to discuss issues facing the industry today and Exterro product experts to share best practices on the entire Exterro platform, in addition to addressing the convergence of e-discovery and privacy.

We will have a mix of edTalks, a few panel sessions, and some 'interview' style sessions, plus a few surprises up our sleeves. The goal with all of our sessions at inFusion is to give attendees cutting edge, compelling presentations that will provide practical advice and takeaways to impact your day to day e-discovery practices.
