The FedRAMP program is a comprehensive outline of what it takes to be a secure cloud provider. It helps provide a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. Cloud software providers go through an intensive third-party audit prior to being authorized by the FedRAMP PMO.
