Siemens Selects Exterro’s Fusion Software Suite for E-Discovery Management

Electronics and engineering leader is integrating the Exterro Fusion® e-discovery platform as part of strategic initiative to upgrade its legal infrastructure

PORTLAND, Ore., February 21, 2012 – Exterro® Inc., the leading provider of workflow-driven e-discovery software, today announced that Siemens Corporation has selected the Exterro Fusion® platform as part of a strategic initiative to upgrade its e-discovery processes. Exterro Fusion is the legal industry’s only software suite specifically designed for managing the critical data and workflows across the EDRM spectrum. After completing a comprehensive proof of concept process, the U.S. subsidiary of Siemens AG, a global powerhouse in electronics and engineering, chose Exterro Fusion for its ease of use and flexible architecture.

“Our teams were immediately impressed with the usability and intuitiveness of the Fusion platform and its ability to provide full visibility into the workflows and project management data needed for making effective decisions at each phase of the e-discovery process,” said John Schwab, senior counsel at Siemens Corporation. “Exterro conveyed to us that they understand the legal complexities faced by multinational corporations.”

Siemens’ teams conducted a comprehensive, side-by-side comparison and in-depth proof of concept before selecting Exterro Fusion to power its identification, preservation and e-discovery management processes. Exterro’s Fusion Genome® Data Mapping, Fusion Legal Hold™ and Discovery Workflow Management™ applications are being integrated into Siemens’ legal IT infrastructure including the company’s HR and single sign-on (SSO) systems through the Fusion Integration Hub™.

“We are extremely pleased to be partnering with Siemens,” said Bobby Balachandran, president and CEO of Exterro. “The Exterro Fusion platform has been built from the ground up to deliver the flexibility, logical deployment and scalability needed for managing the critical data and complex e-discovery workflows required by global enterprises. We look forward to helping the Siemens team leverage the full power of their Fusion implementation.”
