Bennett B. Borden, Esq.

Williams Mullen

Bennett B. Borden is Chair of Williams Mullen’s e-Discovery and Information Governance Section. He is also co-Vice Chair of the ABA’s Electronic Discovery and Digital Evidence Committee, Chair of The Sedona Conference’s Cloud Computing Commentary Drafting Committee, and a founding Steering Committee member of the D.C. Bar Association’s Electronic Discovery Committee. A litigation attorney, Mr. Borden focuses his practice on Electronic Discovery and Information Law. In addition to conducting both offensive and defensive electronic discovery in complex litigation, Mr. Borden has extensive experience counseling clients on the establishment of information governance and records management policies, procedures, and practices based on enterprise risk assessments. He regularly advises multinational clients regarding data privacy, data security, and data regulatory compliance.

 
Mario Cavazos
Solutions Product Manager
Hitachi Data Systems

Mario Cavazos is a Solution Product Manager in the Solution Strategy and Engineering group of Hitachi Data Systems. Mario has 26 years of experience in the information technology storage business and he has been with Hitachi Data Systems for 14 years. He is responsible for the development and delivery of E-Discovery solutions using Hitachi Data Systems Global Solution Services (GSS) to integrate Hitachi file and content services (NAS, archive, search) with other E-Discovery software products.

Mario received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Computer Science from Rice University. Before joining Hitachi Data Systems he worked with IBM initially as systems software developer and later in the professional services group.

 
Elleanor H. Chin, Esq.

Elleanor Chin is a partner in the Portland, Oregon office of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP where she practices in the commercial litigation group. She concentrates her practice in electronic discovery and complex litigation and leads the firm’s electronic discovery practice. She has extensive experience counseling clients on e-discovery and managing electronic discovery in complex litigation, including antitrust matters and class actions. Elleanor is a frequent speaker on electronic discovery topics. She has been on the faculty and seminar planning committee for the Defense Research Institute Electronic Discovery Seminar, been a faculty member for the Georgetown Law Center’s Electronic Discovery Academy and is an active member of the Sedona Conference Working Group 1.

 
Mike Christie

Mike is a senior IT professional within the Information Security Office at Fidelity National Financial responsible for overall technology strategy & implementation.

Mike has been an IT professional his entire career (almost 30 years), first as a software developer in both the aerospace industry (including the International Space Station) and the private sector, then as a development manager, and finally as a implementation security specialist. During his 11 years at FNF Mike has worked primarily in Identity Management with an emphasis on Identity Federation across applications and platforms. For the past three years Mike has been focused exclusively on integrating products to implement the overall corporate security and eDiscovery strategies.

 
Jennifer L. Hamilton, Esq.
Global eDiscovery Counsel
Deere & Company

Jenny Hamilton is Senior Attorney and Global eDiscovery Counsel with Deere & Company, one of the oldest industrial companies in the United States. Jenny pioneered the Electronic Discovery Practice Group at Deere, and leads the eDiscovery Response Team, which oversees the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the Global Law Services Group and Corporate IT, in conjunction with other functional areas; trains the company on duties and best practices; advises in-house lawyers and stakeholders on individual eDiscovery matters team; and works with vendors to develop business cases for emerging technologies. Jenny participates in Working Group 6 of The Sedona Conference, which focuses on data privacy and international electronic discovery issues. Jenny also participates in the Corporate eDiscovery Forum and related speaking and benchmarking opportunities.

Prior to her work with Deere, Jenny practiced commercial litigation in Chicago and worked for Gateway Computers in South Dakota. She holds a business degree from the University of Texas and a J.D. from the University of Iowa.

 
Dan J. Klinger
Senior Manager, Global Information Security

Dan Klinger leads information security efforts at The Hershey Company, the world’s largest chocolate candy company selling more than 50 brands in over 90 countries. His responsibilities include implementing industry-leading security policies and practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Hershey’s critical information assets. Klinger has also pioneered security vulnerability assessments to proactively protect Hershey’s global networks. He has been relentless at building a team of passionate security professionals that align themselves closely with the business to deliver secure applications in a complex global environment. His career in information security spans 18 years, including safeguards for network, application security and regulatory compliance. Klinger is a certified information security manager (CISM).

Dan Klinger also has global responsibility for E-Discovery. He lead the effort in building The E-Discovery program from its inception after the FRCP rules were passed. Instrumental in program was the development of a strong partnership with the LAW dept.

Nancy Mailhot is the Legal IT Project Lead at United Technologies Corporation in Hartford, CT. United Technologies Corporation (UTC) is a diversified company whose products include Carrier heating and air conditioning, Hamilton Sundstrand aerospace systems and industrial products, Otis elevators and escalators, Pratt & Whitney aircraft engines, Sikorsky helicopters, UTC Fire & Security systems and UTC Power fuel cells.

Nancy received her BS in Management Information Systems from Central CT State University, her Masters in Business Administration from the University of Hartford and a Graduate Certificate in Digital Forensics from the University of Rhode Island. She has 10+ years experience in Legal IT. Prior to joining UTC, she worked for the Hartford, CT law firm of Shipman & Goodwin, LLC. She is currently serving her second term on the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Chapter of the Association of Litigation Support Professionals.

Thomas F. Mullane

Tom Mullane has 10 years experience in Information Technology support at United Technologies Corporation. In 2008, he was selected as a founding member of the Electronic Discovery Team, a cross functional group tasked with developing in-house processes and procedures for handling electronic discovery for all UTC business units. Prior to his work in e-discovery, Tom served as Security Operations Center Team Lead.

Tom holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics and History from the University of Connecticut and Master of Science degree in Information Assurance from Norwich University. He is an active member of the Discovery Managers’ Round Table.

 
Kenneth N. Rashbaum, Esq.

In his thirty years of experience as a litigator, trial lawyer and counselor, Kenneth N. Rashbaum has been the trusted advisor to health care providers, health plans and multinational corporations on information governance and its compliance with federal, state, and international law. He has served as partner and Co-Chair of the E-Discovery, Compliance and Data Management Practice Group of AmLaw 100 law firm Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold, LLP, and Director of Consulting of Fios, Inc., where he founded and supervised the Health Care and Cross-Border divisions.

Ken has vast experience counseling multinational corporations on data protection and privacy laws and regulations in Europe, Asia, Canada, and South America. In his capacity as a nationally known expert on data privacy, he counsels health care providers on compliance with federal, state and judicial standards governing protected health information preservation, use and disclosure.

Lori has thirty years of experience as a paralegal and litigation support professional, working in many facets of the legal environment. She is one of the founding members of the eDiscovery Practice Group at Deere and a member of the eDiscovery Response Team. Lori was instrumental in the implementation and support of Deere’s first litigation hold tool, Fusion Legal Hold by Exterro and continues to monitor, support and train users. As an eDiscovery Response Team member, Lori works to identify and improve processes, generate innovative solutions and pursues next generation technology for electronic discovery and litigation strategies.

 
Lynette K. Stocker

Lynette Stocker is a Sr. Litigation/E-Discovery Manager for SUPERVALU INC. Lynette has 23 years of experience as a paralegal/case manager at both law firms and corporations and she has been with SUPERVALU for 17 years. She is responsible for the development, implementation and management of the E-discovery process and procedure for the company, including, leading and training litigation and IT teams on the E-Discovery process. She also manages complex litigation case discovery in major cases for the company.

Lynette received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Legal Studies from Hamline University. She has completed the E-Discovery Certification Course and the Advanced E-Discovery Certification Course at Kroll Ontrack. She is a member of the Minnesota Association of Litigation Support Professionals and the Minnesota E-Discovery Corporate Forum.

Joe Aakre is Exterro’s e-discovery solutions consultant, serving as the primary interface between the company’s product development team and marketing and sales departments. Joe’s responsibilities include product demos, sales engineering support, RFPs, and on-site implementation assistance. Joe brings more than 17 years of legal experience and e-discovery expertise at large law firms and major corporations. His background includes work as a paralegal, litigation support manager and legal investigator.

As the Director of Product Marketing and Strategic Alliances, Jim FitzGerald drives growth and positioning of Exterro’s e-discovery solution suite in the marketplace. FitzGerald brings to Exterro more than 20 years of experience in marketing and management for industry-leading complex software solution providers. Previously, FitzGerald was Director of Product Management and Strategy for IBM for ten years. While at IBM, he was responsible for initiatives that grew a technology and product base of $22 million per year to $414 million per year, and forged strategic partnerships with leaders such as Cisco, Nokia, and Siemens and McKesson. FitzGerald earned his Masters of Business Administration in technology marketing from the University of Oregon, and holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Science/MIS from Northeastern University in Boston, Mass.

 
David L. Hartmann

David Hartmann brings more than ten years of experience in complex software implementations to his role as the Director of Client Success at Exterro. Hartmann heads up the planning and execution of project charters and success criteria processes to ensure Exterro clients achieve success. He is a visionary leader with a history of success in building strong cross-functional teams focused on delivering solutions to address specific client needs. He holds a BS in project management and organizational leadership from George Fox University, was honored as an Oregon Scholar by then-Governor John Kitzhaber, and is currently completing his Project Management Professional certification. He also received the national leadership award for business advocacy in 2005.

 
Suresh Nalla

Suresh Nalla brings his extensive background in designing, building and implementing enterprise-class, Web-based software and applications to Exterro’s client solutions team. He effectively supervises all technical aspects of Exterro’s client installations, managing customizations and integrations as well as working closely with client technical teams to understand and mitigate any IT infrastructure or resource limitations. Under his leadership, a team of client solutions engineers works closely with Exterro’s client success team to deliver Fusion solutions that address client needs. He holds a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Southern California, and received his undergraduate degree in engineering in computer science from P.S.G. College of Technology in Coimbatore, India.
