As a business analyst, you will support Exterro's group of top-notch developers and serve as a liaison between product design and product engineering. You will act as part of the product design team and build prototypes for complex workflow interactions in collaboration with product designers and engineers. Product design works closely with creative engineers to help design and develop technologies that empower legal teams and is actively involved in guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting and tailoring our solutions to corporate legal departments and law firms.

Roles and responsibilities:
* Be the liaison between product design and product engineering working to prototype new products and new features
* Design products of the highest quality with the clean consistent style
* Implement and extend the style guidelines
* Work with designers to implement and maintain user-facing features
* Ship products of the highest quality through strict attention to visual and interaction details
* Utilize and contribute to Exterro's core UI libraries
* Identify and communicate best practices for front-end engineering
* Multitask between regular task requests, small projects and work as a team on larger projects
* Utilize insights from user research to drive product strategy and innovation by facilitating cross-functional participation in analysis and brainstorming
* Advocate on behalf of the user by building consensus with designers, engineers, and leadership

Skills and experience:
* Expertise in HTML, CSS, Java Server Pages, JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX, XSLT, XML
* Knowledge of graphics programs: Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash
* Ability to write well-abstracted, reusable code for common UI components in HTML, JSP and Javascript
* Extremely detail oriented down to pixel-perfect implementation
* Experience with user testing and complicated workflow design
* Passion for building and releasing amazing user-facing projects
* 3+ years of experience building web or desktop applications
* B.A./B.S.  in computer science or related technical field
