Java/J2EE Software Engineer
Exterro, Inc., is a leading provider of software technology for the legal industry, seeks a Java/J2EE Software Engineer Developer for their corporate office in Portland, Oregon. Picture yourself working in the latest cutting edge technologies as a Software Engineer for a fast growing Enterprise Software Company, Exterro. In this full-time position you will be designing, developing, integrating, maintaining, and implementing enterprise-grade software applications which are deployed at the world’s largest corporations. You will be a critical part of the team helping to see the product from inception through to release. As part of a high-performing, motivated workgroup, you will be writing and deploying J2EE frameworks and applications, achieving project goals collaboratively and helping to realize value in our product. You must have the ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem solving environment, be flexible, have good time management skills, excellent oral and written communication skills and prove to be a quick Learner. Having the ability to contribute to the creation of an environment that facilitates high performance and motivates individuals to work collaboratively as a team is a must. Job requirements:
- BA/BS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent combination of education
- Strong JAVA/J2EE experience
- Min 1 + years of experience developing mid-tier JAVA applications in a in a J2EE based application server development environment using the following technologies: Java Servlets, Java Server Pages (JSP), and JDBC
- Must have experience writing and deploying J2EE applications in on one of the following J2EE Application Servers: JBoss, Tomcat, BEA WebLogic, or IBM WebSphere Application Server
- Strong knowledge of Software Engineering (using web-based and object oriented technologies)
- Hands-on experience using Eclipse or Eclipse-based development tools
- Knowledge of Apache Web Server, Hibernate, or JSF is a big plus
- Must have a good understanding of relational database concept
- Must have experience writing and deploying J2EE applications in on one of the following J2EE Application Servers: JBoss, Tomcat, BEA WebLogic, or IBM WebSphere Application Server
